A rare (for us) evening out tomorrow to see Mark Lanegan, one of our favourite singers. We've loved his music from The Screaming Trees, through to his solo work, work with QOTSA, and more recently with the other fantastic vocalist Greg Dulli in their collaboration of The Gutter Twins. Mark has sang on many other albums too - with Isobel Campbell (Belle & Sebastian), The Twilight Singers (Greg Dulli); many years ago with Nirvana vocalist Kurt Cobain, and many many more ...
Here he is singing "Where did you sleep last night", which he famously (in the grunge music world) sang with Kurt Cobain, this version is with Greg Dulli though
Love his music, his voice which has to be heard to be believed - deep, raspy, aged well. I've lost count of how many times we've seen him either with The Screaming Trees, solo, QOTSA, Gutter Twins, etc.
